Another year of school or so I thought... 'So you must know my secret and yes it is true that I have wings.'
Hey my name is Alyssa and yes it's the first day back to school. I know ugh, but it is my third year back so it is almost over. So you must know my secret and yes it is true that I have wings, my wings are 13-foot long, and black and white but that is enough about my wings. So yeah I am 17 years old and I can’t wait to get to school because I get to see my girlfriends. And they are Julia and Natalie, they are my girls, but who I’m really looking forward to seeing is Nick and Blake, they are the most hottest guys I know. I hear Blake and Nick like someone and that they will be asking those girls out this year and I am hoping one is me, so badly.
"Bye house." I say as I walk down the street and all I can think is when will I see my mom again, well she is never home because of work, her new boyfriend takes up a lot of her time too. Well, all I can say about him is that I have never met him so who cares.
So like any other day I wait for the bus, and when it finally shows up; I sit in one of the seats and wait for my friends.
Here comes Julia and Natalie, for one thing I have no clue if they have wings or not, but I can say that I know Natalie has no wings because she is always wearing tank tops.
We talked the whole ride to school, and then we were looking at it, the school no one wants to be back at…
Well, I got my class list; I got none with my friends! Now this is upsetting. So I go to English first, I look around to see if I know anyone and guess who I see!? Oh my God it can’t be… it's, it's, it's Nick! I swore he got cuter over the summer I can’t believe it, so I went and sat near him and said "hi" to him, he looked at me and said, "Hey; Alyssa, what’s up? Did not see you much this summer". "Oh yeah, I was around places. What about you?" I said. "Well, I was with Blake this summer he wouldn’t stop talking about this girl that he was looking for at school but could not find her last year. I hope he does this year, but all he would say was how beautiful she was, very cute and stuff like that".
Then the teacher walked in and wrote her name on the board and it said 'Miss Dove', that is where I laughed like a little kid and then she looked at me and said, "What is your name?" Oh my God, I don’t like teachers anymore then any other student, so I turned to her and said that my name was Alyssa Fox. She did not look happy, after that she turned around back to the board and said that the lesson that we were doing was called getting to know people. We all looked at each other, I know we all were thinking the same thing, like we all know each other because we went to school with each other for like, ever, then class was over, Thank God!

Well, the morning went by fast and now it is lunch and I am sitting with just Natalie, I could not wait any longer, I had to ask, "Where is Julia, Natalie?" and then Natalie said that Julia was going to "make her move" and I knew what she was talking about, Julia was asking Nick out. That was when Natalie said, "Hey, look there she is and oh no she does not look happy". Then she sat down and I asked, "So, how did it go down with Nick?" She said that he said he would think about it and get back to her about it. That was when Natalie and I went, "Woooooow! That is almost a yes." Well, I started to get up to go my next class when I almost forgot and then said it, "Hey Julia, can you come by my house today?" And then she looked a little puzzled by what I said and then said, "Why?" And then I was the one looking puzzled because I did not want to say anything in front of Natalie so I said, "Just because ok, so see you guys on the bus, cya."

So now I am walking to my next class, I am taking the long way to my Math class and next thing I know I bump into someone’s back. It was Blake and then he stated to yell, "What the hell, are you daydreaming while you are walking or what?!!" Then he turns to see me standing there like a stone. The next thing I know we are picking up our things and saying sorry to each other. So, we have math together, wow what a small world. Now we are walking to math, when we got to class we went to a table that was together and just started to talk about summer break, but I was not thinking about what I was saying because I was thinking about how I was going to ask Julia if she had wings, thinking about that, I had forgotten about Blake all together but then he shook my arm and asked, "Are you listing?" And I looked at him and said, "yeah".
Then he looked at me and said, "So what is your answer?" I just looked at him and thought wow I probably looked like I was dumbfounded and by the look on his face, it said I did. I asked, "Can you repeat it for me please," I said with a puppy dog eye look and he fell for it and he said it again, "Um… Alyssa I would like to know if you ant to go out with me, as you know, like a boyfriend and you like my girlfriend?" I said, "Yes, I would love to." Without thinking about it. That was when a big and I mean big, smile came to his face. Then he said, "Cool, I like that a lot. I will see you after school today. Wait, is it ok if I come over to your place?" I looked at him and just said, "Yes". And that was the end of that because that was when the teacher came in and started class.

It is the end of the day now and I am at my locker getting my stuff, when I remembered that Julia was coming over and I had to ask her if she had wings. Without letting her know that I have wings, I have no clue how I am going to do this. Blake was coming over too, oh my God! How am I going to talk to them both I can’t do this, and before I knew it, I was at my seat on the bus looking at Blake and looking at my friends and thinking what am I going to do. That was when Blake took my hand and made me sit down and asked, "Is everything ok with you, because you look a bit pale." I could see the worry on his face so I said I was fine and the bus started and then we were on our way.
The next thing I remember is getting off the bus with Blake and Julia, walking to my house. As I unlock the door and grab food and now I am in my room, and we are sitting anywhere we could find and then out of nowhere Julia says, "So what is so important you have to talk to me here at your place and not at school or on the phone?" But I could not help but giggle a little bit at Blake’s face because he looked so funny wondering what we were talking about and then he said, "Whatever you need to talk to her about is something I can know because I am your boyfriend. I can take it, I would do the same with you, you know it, so start talking Alyssa." That was when I could not believe I was about to tell my friend and boyfriend that I had wings. I might just go crazy after this, I was looking at them and thinking how can I tell them both. I must have looked puzzled because my friends looked so worried.
